About Us
I’ve always had a deep passion for cooking and baking. As a child, I would stand on a chair to watch my mother create a variety of dishes, from arroz con pollo to matzo ball soup. My mother was from Havana, Cuba, while my father was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Growing up, I was exposed to diverse cuisines, and I discovered that baking and cooking brought me immense joy.
Today, I’m drawn to the ethnic foods my mother didn’t make, such as bagels, bialys, scones, rugelach, smoked salmon, and sourdough bread. Living on the Connecticut shoreline, I yearn for a great bagel, an authentic sourdough boule, and the delightful array of toppings that accompany them. Sharing my culinary creations is a passion of mine, so we eagerly welcome our Shoreline neighbors, transplant New Yorkers, newcomers, and everyone else to this little slice of NYC heaven.
